The lawyers blamed the suicide on the insurance company for not settling the case.

It really shocks me to see the type of anger against physicians expressed in the previous comment.
It’s funny how people tend to forget that these doctors are the same poeople who stay up at night treating illnesses and saving lives.
They are the ones who deliver babies, remove cancers, transplant hearts , and when you try to die they use their magic to keep you alive!
They don’t demand or expect recognition and they usually don’t get it.
They may not be perfect but they at laest try to be and do a good job trying!
They are the ones who die young of stress related illnesses.
There is a vicious group of malpractice attorneys and politicians who are actively feeding this deformed picture of the medical profession to the general public. They are using all thier power and money to implant fear and distrust in the minds of the misinformed majority of the american people.
They are the only winners in this game of war between the public and rheir physicians.
So as a response to the previous comment I think that patients in this country have indeed been maiming butchering and killing their doctors for a long time, although it’s not done physically, it’s as damaging and horrible and it only benifits a parasitic blood thirsty minority.

I would love it if the estate and family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against all the parties, the scuzzbag plaintiff, the land pirates, and the Judge. I would like to see the self-dealt immunities of the Judges pierced. It is like a premises liability claim, as if the defendant slipped on the ice on the sidewalk. In effect, the judge sentenced this doctor to death for a civil tort by his negligence, and the failure of the administrative judge to supervise this out of control incompetent. Let the judge carry insurance. They are not better than anyone else, those self-dealing, negligent judges.

Anirban, I suggest you get the guts to say that to your doctor’s face. Then, please, stay healthy, because you will find, no one has any slots to see you for the rest of your short life. You don’t believe medicine has any value anyway, so it will make no difference, since you would never call for an appointment. Do it.

Doctors should start to make a national list of the enemies of clinical care. If the Judge or any land pirate refuses to compensate the estate, put him on the list. To deter.
