The Brave New Generation.
They believe that they have the instant right to ignor every normal physiologic message their body is telling them. The antidote for tired is no longer sleep, just take a few amphetamines. Feeling a little anxious today, well this little blue one will fix you right up.

It is amazing that Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’ featured a mind controlling drug called Soma and that the drug industry unabashedly marketed a drug often abused called Soma (carisoprodol, a skeletal muscle relaxer that can produce a mild euphoria, especially with alcohol).
