My younger sister is guilty of doing this. With 2 young children flying from New York to Manila is no easy task. So she gave them Benadryl, both she and husband are in the medical field. :)

I’m just sharing with you that this do happen.

Be careful with this. Benadryl commonly causes paradoxical agitation and hyperactivity in children. The strategy may backfire!

Thanks. Now, I’m so afraid. I think I’ll sue them for negligence, malpractice :) joking.

Sister dear I hope you’re reading this. Something must be done with your licenses.

“Jesus Juice” in a Coke can will work as well.

i must say i think this is outrageous that someone would give benadryl to baby or child to calm them down. my mother confessed that she gave me piriton on a night as a baby to get me to sleep and it was backed by her doctor who even gave her prescription antihistamines to get me to sleep. I have a medical background and IMO this could be dangerous if not fatal under some circumstances. I think this is disgusting behaviour.
