The last time I saw my PCP I had waited for 1.5 hrs. in teh waiting room past my appt. time before I was called back. I really didn't mind as that is not the normal for this office.
When the Doc. came in he explained it was this "medicare mess" with prescriptions that was making him run so far behind. He says the phones never stop ringing from patients who want him to prescribe different meds. because they have went to pick their's up and found them not to be covered, even though they were listed as being covered initially.
