“hmmm….cardiologists charge $X to read an echo. Why dont we just let technicians do all the echos and we can save a ton of money because the techs wont charge as much money!”

Get ready, this is coming to the US eventually. Hell its already going that way with PAs and NPs. I saw a PA do a full cardiac bypass with no surgeon present in the room.
