There have been no study to show a higher incidence of growth or mental retardation, cancer, psychiatric problems, immune deficiency, etc. Is this much ado about nothing? Isn't the fetus at higher risk for morbidity or mortality when the mother is driving on the interstate? <br/>On the other hand, we do a lot of CT of the head on children with very minor head injury and we do know the proven hazards of radiation exposure.
