Uh… yummy? Actually, some childbirth educators use a knitted uterus. Stretchy cervix, and you can fit a doll inside for demonstration purposes. They are available for sale at birthinternational.com and birthsource.com if anyone wants to see photos.
Geeze, and I have trouble just knitting a scarf! Reminds me of the scene in “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” where the characters turn into knitted dolls and when one of them gets nauseated,he throws up multicolored yarn……
