Turning the tables: Doctors are now suing the insurance companies
"Local doctors claim greed has overtaken the health industry, and that insurance companies are making decisions of life and death instead of physicians. Now thousands of doctors are suing insurance providers."
The insurance company's ironic response: "We believe the class-action lawsuits ... are baseless and frivolous."

Comments:
And here we thought doctors believed that juries weren't smart enough to understand complex issues. I wonder if doctors will think juries are smart enough to understand the complexity of their relationship with their insurers.
health insurance companies need to be taken to task for unabashedly and consistently screwing their patients, as well as the physicians. i commend the KC physicians for standing up to the industry.
i rank health insurance administrators up there with enron execs. how do these people sleep at nite knowing they are directly responsible for denying ill people life-saving interventions? REALLY?
