A doctor yearns for medicine as it was practiced 30 years ago. Best of luck to him - a doctor who doesn't accept business being a part of medicine cannot survive in today's world.

That's some bit of surgery even for a specialist, let alone blunt-edged feds. Oh, I fergot, feds are sooo good at creating a system. But then, why limit to the practice of medicine? Don't we also "need" the federal government to remove the profit motive from every other economic endeavor? Wouldn't we all be so much better off in a nation in which the government placed people before profits? eh?
