No Sh– Sherlock. Of course people who have been permanently injured, maimed, suffer chronic pain, or have lost love ones due to medical incompetence are not feeling all warm and fuzzy towards the medical profession.
This article, I hate to say it, drips of the bizarre patronizing attitude that only further infuriates medical consumers. We pay for a service. When something goes wrong, we want to make sure that we haven’t been cheated–and thus seek compensation thru the legal system.
Malpractice is not a question of anger: it’s a question of fairness, equity, and fair dealing.
