The high number of phone calls and paperwork which PCPs have o do Pro bono makes it tough. Reimburising such work may atleast make it tolerable. The ACP is basically, at best,no help.I have yet to see what they have to offer to the practicing internist in the real world except a good medical journal and pontification <br/>about social justice and allocation of resources.
