Amphetamines are widely used in sports as a "performance enhancer", and can clearly cause stroke. Anyway, that's my two cents. Carotid trauma +/- dissection is surely possible and I have seen a few of these, but I do believe they would have already put him on anticoag’s and I don’t see how they could release him so quickly…but then again, it IS MGH…
