My LDL cholesterol was never better. Merck doesn’t have a “Contact Us” link on their website. I had taken Lescol and developed muscle pain so went off of that, tried diet alone and lost 13 pounds but my cholesterol went up so dr just put me on Vytorin. Have you had any side effects? Was vein was blocked completely. My blood pressure was high and I was diagnosed with diabetes. I am on beta and alpha blockers, diabetes medication, and initially lovastatin. At my request, I switched to Vytorin. My cholesterol is down to 123. My diabetes is under control. I do not eat eggs because I like Egg Beaters omelettes. But I do eat lamb, beef, pork, ham, chicken and turkey in moderation, as well as cheese. Once a month I go to Shoneys for the breakfast buffet and have eggs, bacon and sausage. I also eat whole wheat breads. I make my own soups and watch my sodium and sugar intake, although I eat desserts on occasion.
