A good case for same-day appointments. Our practice currently uses this model (allowing several same-day urgent care visits per physician) with good success. Patients are happy with the improved access, and these slots invariably fill.

that’s all i do all day, and it’s a blast!
Have tried this at Beckley VA and too many old time MD’s will not go. They keep the slots filled month out and will not reopen for no show which remains a problem. First thing you have to do is get out of the old paradime.
