I’m curious about the effect of California on the data presented.
California is somewhat unique in having:
(a) the largest state in economy size and population
(b) malpractice caps and,
(C) a strong insurance commissioner who requires evidence from companies for rate hikes.
I’d be curious if when you remove California from the equation if rate caps look as good.
